I found the Library of Babel article very interesting. I liked how Borges gave a lot of tiny details making his description of the universe very clear and precise. I think he was trying to say that symbols are arbitrary and significant at the same time. Everything in the universe, including the universe itself, is also a symbol. And though most search to decipher all the symbols it will never be acomplished because there are an infinite number of interpretations and it is almost impossible to depict which interpretation is 100% correct.
